以前同じようなこと書いた記憶があるけど。

日本におけるP2PといえばWinnyやWinMXだった。これらが作った（作ってしまった）違法音楽ファイルから構成される音楽ライブラリは日本中の数多のパソコンの中に眠っているはずだ。Appleはこの資産を有効活用し、且つ徴収するであろう年間利用契約料からある程度の利益さえ得ることができてしまうのかもしれない。また、レーベル側も結果的にこの環境から恩恵を受けることができるようになる。iTunes Music Matchが日本に上陸する、というのはそういうことを意味する、のだと思っている。
